Warranty: 
60 days (parts and labor) warranty is included on all devices & parts purchased from and/or replaced by us, starting from the date of sale and/or date of collection.

These warranties do not cover any issues that are the result of misuse, theft/loss, damage cause by natural disaster, unauthorised repairs or modifications, negligence, or physical/liquid damage to the device while in your possession after purchase or repair. Any devices that have been reported as faulty or have been returned to us will be inspected against our previous pictures, have their serial number checked and have their water damage indicator checked. We may carry out any additional required checks. Devices that become faulty whilst under warranty may be subject to: being repaired at no cost, being exchanged for a similar product, receiving a partial refund, receiving a full refund after it is returned and checked over.

Repairs:

By sending/bringing your device for maintenance/repair to Jays Phone Repairs, you understand and agree to the following:

Due to the nature of electronics repair, Jays Phone Repairs cannot accurately identify hidden issues inside your electronic equipment.

Consequently, we cannot be held responsible for devices that are no longer operational after we attempt repair. By sending/giving your device to us, you agree to this and release Jays Phone Repairs from all liability related to your electronic equipment. Jays Phone Repairs cannot be held responsible under any circumstances for Non-Operational devices after repair or attempted repair, or be held responsible for loss of information and/or end user data during/after the repair process. You are responsible for making sure that any critical data is backed up prior to sending/giving your device to us and for providing copies of any licensed software if necessary. In rare cases, some repairs may cause slight aesthetic damage which isn't considered a fault or warranty issue unless the damage is major and wasn't caused out of necessity.

If there is signs of liquid damage then the repair may further damage the goods and we hold no liability for any damage or faults that occur during or after the repair. We advise against repairs if there has been liquid damage, due to the much higher risk of future issues.

In some cases, goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather then being repaired. Refurbished and/or aftermarket parts may be used to repair the goods.

A free diagnostics check will be done with each device that we receive. This may require your password and/or access to the device. Any other faults that arise will be mentioned and any repairs needed will be discussed with the customer. After an agreed price, payment will be made prior to the repair(s). We cannot repair any devices without carrying out the diagnostics check first. All diagnostics results are stored in our system for future reference, with photos and serial number(s). Not all aftermarket LCD screen replacment units are capable of true tone transfer. Adaptive brightness (auto-brightness) is not guaranteed to work after the replacement. Once your device is repaired, it will be sent back via insured & tracked delivery which will be covered in the quoted price.

No Fix, No Fee:
In the event where your device is unable to be repaired, we won’t charge you any fees or costs. At this current point in time, we cannot refund any money that is spent on postage/shipping your device to us.

Mail-In:
We advise you to pay for insurance/cover on all parcels which will cover the device(s) value as we cannot be held liable if it gets lost in the post. We also advise for you to carefully package any phones that you send to us, as we cannot be held responsible for any damage that happens during transit.

Estimated Time:
We will work on the device as soon as possible after we receive it and we will provide an estimate of when the repair or maintenance will be finished. If this estimate changes, we will reach out to you via e-mail or text/call your phone number to update you. Repairs usually take 1-2 business days but can vary depending on how busy we are.

Collection & Receiving Devices:
For any belongings that are dropped off, you will also be responsible for picking up all peripheral devices, accessories and/or media, and will not hold us responsible for the subsequent loss of any items that may have been left behind.

Equipment and devices that are not picked up and/or not paid for after thirty (30) calendar days will become sole property of Jays Phone Repairs.

When the repaired device is collected/received by the customer we will ask for a final Inspection of the device to confirm that it is satisfactory and working as expected. This will be acknowledged by the customer via a signature or evidence provided via text/email.

Returns:
For all return enquiries, contact us to initiate a return request. This must be done within 7-days of the purchase date. The item must be in its original condition and a proof of purchase is required. The device will be checked over before a refund is given. The customer is responsible for all postage/shipping costs with non-warranty returns. If you purchased a new device and have opened/used it, it is therefore not in its original condition and as a result we cannot offer the same price due to a loss of resale value.
